Veterinary House Calls

At Colonial Animal Hospital and Colonial Gateway Veterinary Center, we don’t think great veterinary care should be limited to inside our walls. We recognize that not everyone can easily make it to our practices, which is why we offer veterinary house calls to the surrounding Boynton Beach area.

To set up a house call visit, you’ll need to call us at (561) 732-3629 or (561) 737-6448 so we can get the details and learn exactly what services your pet will need.

Services We Perform at House Calls

At pet house calls, our veterinarian and nursing staff can bring the appropriate equipment for a variety of services including:

  • Wellness visits
  • Vaccinations
  • Sick pet exams
  • Bloodwork
  • Parasite prevention
  • Euthanasia

When you set up your appointment, please make sure to let us know all the services your pet will need so we can make sure to bring the correct equipment and supplies.

Preparing for a Veterinary House Call

Before your scheduled appointment, it’s important to make sure there is a quiet, clutter-free area of your home where we will be able to examine your pet. If you have other pets, it’s a good idea to keep them in a separate room so the pet we need to examine is not distracted or excited. In the case your pet needs further diagnostics such as X-rays, we may need to schedule a time for them to come to our practice. If you have any questions about your house call visit, please contact us and we’ll be happy to assist!
